SLIPPER ELM BARK is a natural anti-inflammatory. It helps the irritated gastrointestinal tract, relieves respiratory problems and can even alleviate toothache.
The bark is obtained from the North American red elm (Ulmus rubra), which is also known as “slippery elm”. The red elm owes this nickname to its uniquely enthusiastic production of mucilage, which consists of polysaccharides. It is precisely this mucilage that unfolds its calming effect in the dog’s body by laying protectively over the stomach lining.

If the dog is given medication, the elm bark can influence the absorption of the active ingredient.
